Steve Acker <A HREF="mailto:acker.1@osu.edu">(Acker.1@osu.edu)</A> is Associate Professor of Communication at The Ohio State University and Research Associate of the Center for the Advanced Study of Telecommunications.  His research interests are in the design and diffusion of new media technologies.  Currently, he and his design team are working on the second generation of <A HREF="http://express.sbs.ohio-state.edu/ISO9660/MOM.HTM">Meeting of the Minds (MoM)</A>, a distributed work tool for collaborative writing.
