I believe your homepage demonstrates a thorough understanding of the content covered in CS 130 so far. I believe your inclusion of a remote control especially demonstrates your mastery, but I believe it also proves clumsy and awkward rather than helping to expeite navigation of the page, I also believe that your use of a vertical frame as an index serves greatly at speeding up navigation, and the ability of the buttons to change color depending on the location of the user also proves helpful. I applaud your use of scrolling, animated gifs and believe that they are a great way of drawing attention to and quickly distributing information. I believe your greatest feat in this page is the initial event handler that allows users to decided whether or not their browser should display frames. I also like your use of javascript to display the date and time of the last time the page was updated. One tiny criticism is that a few times I had difficulty with the buttons concerning the remote, sometims they would work and at other times they wouldn't. Overall I think you have a great page and urge you to keep up the good work.
