Solving Case Studies through ALNs
Groups working on a case study in an asynchronous network produced better,
longer solutions but were less satisfied with the interaction process.
Document-Centered Peer Collaborations
Gender and beliefs that users hold about what constitutes a legitimate
educational experience can stongly influence the value they ascribe to
educational software.

communication was invented in academe. Will computer-mediated communication
re-invent academe?

with greater exposure to computers tend to be more frequent users of e-mail
than older faculty, whose customary communication styles do not include its

MBone
multicasting supports efficient distribution of network traffic to multiple
users simultaneously. The author examines human factors of MBone
videoconferencing.
Using
E-Mail to Survey Internet Users
E-mail can be
used successfully to survey Internet users nationwide, although certain
limitations apply.
